There used to be a wikipedia article on the game, but it looks like it's been taken off since I can't find it. Apparently it's been around since about '96. I thought I would state the rules a bit clearer, just in case anyone happens on the group, and doesn't understand the game, they'd miss out on all the "fun".
We play with the rules
1) You are always playing the game, the aim is to forget the game, and so when you think about the game you are losing the game.
2) When you lose the game you have to say, in some way, that you have lost the game.
3) When someone asks about the game, you have to tell them the rules.
Incidentally we don't count it as unfair to state you've lost the game using a pseudonym for the game i.e. Alzheimer's, so long as someone has the chance of understanding, nor is it unfair to chalk "You Lost" on someone's drive, wall or door.
